Another one that falls in the category "Ah, this time I will remember it" but always seem to have forgotten it when I need it again. When you encounter a malfunctioning poorly coded webpart on a page, it may cause the whole page not to be displayed. In order to remove it from the page so you can use the page again, there is this trick to add ?Contents=1 to the URL. This will redirect the page to the webpart maintenance page where you can remove the webpart.
